On the vast, boundless plains of Xinjiang, an electric vehicle has achieved a groundbreaking feat: a 3,200-kilometer journey completed in 14 days—powered entirely by solar energy, without relying on any external charging stations. Enabled by ZNSHINE Solar's lightweight photovoltaic modules, the vehicle ran 100% on solar power. This challenge not only redefined public perception of new energy mobility, but also demonstrated the outstanding performance and vast potential of ZNSHINE Solar modules in mobile energy applications.


Zero Charging Stations, 100% Solar Power, Fully Autonomous and Controllable

The challenger, Du Bolang, stated: “My goal was to prove that even without charging infrastructure, efficient, safe, and long-distance electric travel is possible—powered solely by the sun.” During the journey, the vehicle was recharged for 5 to 6 hours daily, gaining approximately 6 kWh of electricity per hour. Under ideal conditions, the vehicle achieved a daily driving range of up to 290 kilometers. Even on cloudy days, the high-efficiency energy storage system ensured continuous operation and stable performance.


The challenge utilized ZNSHINE Solar’s lightweight PV modules, specially designed for mobile applications. A total of 20 modules were installed on the vehicle, weighing only about 100 kilograms in total. These modules provided high power output and excellent compatibility, without compromising the safety or stability of the vehicle. “I chose ZNSHINE Solar because their modules are not only the right size but also lightweight and durable,” Du Bolang emphasized. “After more than 3,000 kilometers of bumpy roads, the modules showed no damage or performance degradation.” Their mechanical robustness and resistance to wind and sand were clearly evident.
